Cider house is a quirky renovated ‘terrace’ barn located in the scenic chocolate box Hamlet of Hutcherleigh just outside of Blackawton Village. The cottage has been renovated with Guests in mind making sure it has everything you could possibly need for your stay and giving you a real insight into the joys of living in the Countryside. Need a break from a busy lifestyle or busy city then this is the perfect country home for you. The cottage also offers Guests up to two car park spaces for your holiday.
Cider House is a beautiful barn with two floors, the ground floor with the essential social zones for all the family and on the first floor are the bedrooms and bathrooms. As you approach the cottage you will be greeted with a paved front terrace, this is ideal for morning, noon and night dining. The terrace is a sunny spot throughout the day and perfect if you need some chill-out time with a good book. It is a great spot to watch the world go by, wave to the local Farmer, do some twitching or simply observe the wildlife. The property has a communal garden a few yards away from the front door of Ciders. This communal garden is perfect with friends and family to enjoy some garden game antics and there are picnic benches too.

There are 2 double bedrooms both with King Size Beds. One room is with an ensuite shower and the other bedroom has a freestanding bath.

Perfect for 1 or 2 sets of couples and families. Cider is dog friendly (1 well-behaved dog). We also provide high chairs and travel cots for young families.

Dog Friendly
Cider is designed to be Dog Friendly. The cottages have enclosed front patio areas where you can sit and dine al fresco with the knowledge that your four-legged friend is secure. There is also the communal orchard where you can stretch your legs and where doggy can do what doggies do!

Cider is the perfect location to explore South Devon. Equidistant from the thriving towns of Totnes, Kingsbridge & Dartmouth (15 min drive) and the same to the beaches of Blackpool sands & the 3-mile beach of Slapton. There's lots to explore and do and plenty of things to enjoy during your stay.
Cider
Through the front door of Cider are the open plan kitchen/dining and living room. The kitchen encompasses all things country with Belfast Sink, wooden framed kitchen worktop and cupboards and an electric range for guests to use throughout their holiday. Fully immerse yourself in the ‘country life’, cook a delicious Sunday Roast using local Farmer's produce and create new memories around the dining table.
The lounge is the perfect place to relax, put your feet up and watch some TV after a full day of adventure. A wood burner is available during your stay, great for the winter months and your furry companion will enjoy the warm embers of the fire too, nothing like chilling out next to a fire, don’t forget to have a hot chocolate, create that movie moment on your holiday!
On the first floor at the top of the landing is the w.c. then to the left is the master bedroom with King size bed (these can be unzipped to create two singles), there is a space to hang your clothes and pack items away during your holiday and an open-plan shower cubicle and wash basin.
The second bedroom across the landing has a double-sized bed again, with an open plan bathroom with a roll-top claw foot bath and wash basin.

Please be aware the property is in a rural location, you will need to drive along single-track roads and be prepared to reverse if you meet another car in the lanes.
